In this video you’ll learn how to remove Ubuntu from dual boot windows 10. It’s not very complicated to remove Ubuntu from dual boot windows 10. Most often people used to dual boot Ubuntu and windows 10 and when you need to remove Ubuntu from dual boot in windows 10 it becomes messy often. So in this video I’ll show a new alternative solution on how to delete Ubuntu from dual boot in windows 10. Using this method, it’s possible to remove dual boot windows 10 in both UEFI and legacy mode. After you remove Ubuntu from dual boot it’s necessary to delete Linux partitions (which consumes disk space), people often used to delete the wrong partitions which causes data loss. Commands used in the video
1) reagent /enable
2) reagent /boottore
3) bcdedit | find “os”
4) diskpart
5) list volume
6) select volume (volume number of system reserved / hidden partition)
7) format fs=fat32 label=SysPart
8) assign letter=m:
9) exit
10) bcdboot d:\windows /s m: /f all (d: is the drive letter shown by the first command)
11)bootsect /nt60 all /force /mbr



Text instructions
1) Go to windows search an type “cmd”
2) Right click “cmd” and click on “run as administrator”
3) Click on “yes” if prompted
4) Type "reagent /enable" and hit enter
5) Type "reagent /boottore" and hit enter
6) Restart your computer
7) Go inside windows 10 (it will automatically boot into recovery environment)
8) Click on "troubleshoot"
9) Click on "advanced options"
10) Click on "command prompt"
11) Type bcdedit | find “os” and hit enter (This command will give you a drive letter which we will use later on)
12) Type "diskpart" and hit enter
13) Type "list volume" and hit enter (this will give you a list of partitions present in your computer)
14) Now if you are in legacy mode then you'll have to select system reserved partition & if you are in UEFI mode select hidden partition.
15) To select a partition type "select volume (volume number of system reserved / hidden partition)" and hit enter
16) Type "format fs=fat32 label=SysPart" and hit enter
17) Type "assign letter=m:" and hit enter
18) Type "exit" and hit enter
19) Type "bcdboot d:\windows /s m: /f all" and hit enter (replace d: with the drive letter shown by the first command)
20) Type "bootsect /nt60 all /force /mbr" and hit enter
21) Close "command prompt"
22) Click on "turn off your PC" and turn it on
23) Now download diskgenius from anyone of the below link

(Or)

24) Install "diskgenius"
25) Now open diskgenius and look for EXT4 & Linux Swap partitions (these partitions are Linux partitions)
26) Right click EXT4 partition and click on delete current partition & click on ok
27) Right click Linux Swap partition and click on delete current partition & click on ok
28) Again right click extended partition and click on delete current partition
29) Right click free space and click on create new partition & click on ok
30) now click on save all
31) Click on ok (twice)
